How does per-pool pricing work?

Some pool service platforms bill per pool or per technician, which means the invoice climbs every time you add a body of water or hire a tech. That model is common enough that “without per-pool pricing” is a recognized search among pool pros shopping for alternatives. PoolPuma takes the other approach.

You pick a flat monthly tier based on how many serviced locations you manage. Solo covers up to 150, Team up to 600, and Growth up to 1,500. Within a tier, adding another pool at an existing property, or another technician to run routes, does not change the price. Team members and weekly routes are unlimited on every plan.

The unit that matters is the serviced location, not the pool. A serviced location is a property you actively service that has at least one active pool or spa. A home with a pool and a spa counts as one. A commercial property with four bodies of water counts as one. This keeps the plan limit close to the number of stops your techs actually drive to, which is the number owners tend to plan around anyway.

Because the tiers are flat, your software cost stays predictable as you grow inside a tier, and you only move up when your serviced-location count crosses a threshold. Annual billing gives two months free on all three self-service plans. If you outgrow Growth’s 1,500 locations, Enterprise pricing is scoped case by case rather than run through the same per-location math.
