Can I track chemical readings per pool?

In PoolPuma, chemistry lives at the body of water. Each service visit is anchored to the specific pool or spa being serviced, so the readings a technician records, along with the chemicals used and any notes, attach to that body of water rather than floating at the customer or route level.

That anchoring is what gives every pool a continuous history. A single property might have a pool and a spa, and each one accumulates its own record of vitals over time. Because the visit is tied to the body of water and not to a route run or a technician, the history stays intact even as routes get reorganized or a different tech covers the stop. When you open a pool, you see how its chemistry has actually behaved, visit after visit.

You can set target ranges on a body of water. When readings come in, PoolPuma checks them against that pool’s own targets, falling back to sensible defaults when none are set. On top of that, chemical recommendations help an operator or manager interpret the readings: the system validates that the readings are usable, then produces a safety-oriented suggestion built on a rule-based baseline. These are guided suggestions that require human verification before anyone applies chemicals, and if the AI assist is unavailable the deterministic baseline still runs.

There is one more safeguard worth knowing. When a stop is completed, PoolPuma freezes a snapshot onto that day’s record, including the body of water’s size at the time of service. Later edits to the pool’s profile do not rewrite history that already happened, so a reading from three months ago still reflects the pool as it was that day.
