Answer

What service reports do customers receive?

PoolPuma records a complete service visit for every stop: readings, chemicals, notes, and photos with device time and GPS. Honestly, there is no automatic customer-facing report email or customer portal today. The record lives in the app, so office staff can pull up the proof and details whenever a customer asks about a visit.

It is worth being direct about what exists today and what does not.

What PoolPuma captures is thorough. Every completed visit is a full record tied to the specific body of water: the readings taken, the chemicals used, notes, and the proof captured at the stop, which includes device time, GPS location, and photos checked against your company’s proof policy. Skipped stops carry their reason. This gives every pool a continuous, verifiable service history that the office can open at any time.

What PoolPuma does not do today is deliver that record to the customer automatically. There is no built-in email that fires a service report to the homeowner after each visit, and there is no customer-facing portal where a customer logs in to browse their own history. That is an honest gap, not a hidden feature.

So the practical answer to “what do customers receive” is: nothing lands in the customer’s inbox on its own right now. What you get instead is complete, time-stamped, GPS-located proof stored per pool, so when a customer calls to ask whether their pool was serviced last Tuesday or questions a charge, office staff can pull up the visit, the readings, and the photos and answer with specifics rather than “let me check with the tech.”

If customer-facing reports or a customer portal ship later, that would be a real product change described plainly here, not an assumption to plan around today. For now, treat PoolPuma as the system of record your office uses to answer customer questions, not as an automated customer notification tool.
