What service cadences does PoolPuma support?

A service schedule is the business’s statement of intent: this body of water gets serviced on this route, this often. PoolPuma supports four cadences: weekly, every two weeks, every four weeks, and one time. Each schedule is anchored to a weekday or a specific date, and it points at the weekly route responsible for carrying out the work.

A schedule can target an entire property, meaning every body of water there, or a single body of water. That flexibility matters when one property has a pool on a weekly cadence and a spa on a different rhythm, or when a commercial site needs the whole property serviced together.

Seasonality is handled without deleting and rebuilding. You can pause a schedule for a date range, so a pool that goes offline for a remodel or a snowbird’s closed house simply stops generating work until the pause ends, then resumes on its own. You can also give a schedule a start date, an end date, or both, which fits accounts that only run part of the year.

When a single day needs to differ from the pattern, that is a schedule exception, not a change to the cadence. An exception can skip one occurrence, move it to a different date or route, or reassign it to a different technician for that date only. The recurring schedule everyone else relies on stays intact.

The cadence lives on the schedule, while routes and route stops stay as the technician’s worksheet. When you dispatch a day, every schedule due that date is turned into the day’s route runs, so the plan you set once drives the daily work without you re-entering it.
